On 320 pages, the Emscher Art Trail catalogue documents the project period from 2019 to 2024 and presents the soon-to-be 24 works of art. The five new works are explained in more detail in various guest contributions. Further essays situate the concept of the Emscher Art Trail in the current debate on art in public spaces. In addition to numerous illustrations of the works, the photo series “Emscher Walk” by artist Arwed Messmer follows the course of the Emscher. The catalogue in DIN A5 format will be published by Hatje Cantz Verlag from 26 February 2024 and can also be used as a travel guide along the Emscher Art Trail. Information and order here.
